The Creative Writing Program at New York University seeks a renowned fiction writer of national reputation who will play a leading role within the Creative Writing Program, and will hold a tenured appointment in the Department of English. Position to begin either January 1, 2017 or September 1, 2017, pending final administrative and budgetary approval. An extensive and distinguished publication record and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level expected. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate fiction workshops and courses on literature, mentoring students, and serving on the graduate admissions committee. The successful candidate will join a prominent writing program and an award-winning faculty.
