Marie-Helene Bertino

Marie-Helene Bertino is the author of 2 A.M. at The Cat's Pajamas (Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers, Best Book of 2014 at NPR and others) and Safe as Houses (Iowa Award for Short Fiction, named Outstanding Collection by The Story Prize). Her work has received The Pushcart Prize, The O. Henry award, and fellowships from MacDowell, Sewanee, and Hedgebrook Writers Colony. In addition to teaching at NYU, she is a faculty member of the low-residency MFA program at Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), and lives in Brooklyn, where she is an Editor-at-Large for Catapult Magazine. For more information, please visit:
